Interventional Radiology
The Interventional radiologists at MRL specialize in minimally invasive, targeted treatments. They offer the most in-depth knowledge of the least invasive treatments available coupled with diagnostic and clinical experience across all specialties. They use X-ray, CT, MRI and other imaging to advance a catheter in the body, usually in an artery, to treat at the source of the disease internally.
MRL has the largest group of interventional radiologists in Southeastern Wisconsin. All of our physicians are board-certified specialists in minimally-invasive procedures along with four full time board certified physician assistants.
*Interventional radiologists interact directly with the patient. From preoperative to post-operative, our physicians make sure the patient is comfortable and understands exactly what is taking place both during their procedure and what the patient can expect after the procedure.
