Interventional Radiology
The Interventional radiologists at MRL specialize in minimally invasive, targeted treatments. They offer the most in-depth knowledge of the least invasive treatments available coupled with diagnostic and clinical experience across all specialties. They use X-ray, CT, MRI and other imaging to advance a catheter in the body, usually in an artery, to treat at the source of the disease internally.
Diagnostic Imaging
Diagnostic Imaging refers to radiology examinations (X-ray, CT scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine) that help your doctor arrive at a diagnosis so that they can treat you appropriately. Your radiologist plays an integral role in your health care, often from behind the scenes. We interpret your examination and report our findings to your doctor. Depending on what your symptoms are, we can also help decide which type of examination will be most helpful to figure out what is causing the problem.

Body Imaging
The body imaging subspecialists at MRL concentrate on imaging disorders of the abdomen and pelvis. This includes the lungs, liver, stomach, spine, pelvis, kidneys, colon, pancreas, other organs and all portions of the abdomen.
Cardiac Imaging
The cardiovascular imaging subspecialists at MRL are devoted to diagnostic imaging and diagnosis of diseases of the heart and blood vessels (including the arteries and veins, and the lymphatics). They Interpret cross sectional imaging studies of the heart and vascular system using CT or CAT scans and MRI.
Chest/Thoracic Imaging
The chest/thoracic imaging subspecialists at MRL specialize in the study and diagnosis of non-cardiac diseases of the chest involving: the lungs, the mediastinum (region of the chest containing structures such as the trachea and esophagus), the pleura (lining of the lungs), and the chest wall.

Neuro-Imaging
The neuroradiologist at MRL specialize in the diagnosis and characterization of abnormalities of the central and peripheral nervous system, spine, head and neck using neuroimaging techniques. Imaging modalities primarily include CT and MRI.
Nuclear Medicine
The nuclear medicine specialists at MRL interpret studies that use small amounts of radioactive material in order to diagnose and determine the severity of a variety of diseases, including many types of cancers, heart disease, gastrointestinal, endocrine, neurological disorders and other abnormalities within the body.
Orthopedic Imaging
The orthopedic imaging specialists of MRL are highly skilled at the interpretation of musculoskeletal exams including traumatic, rheumatologic, neoplastic and infectious conditions. We have experts in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound and in various imaging guided procedures including noninvasive treatment of calcific tendinitis, pudendal neuralgia and meralgia paresthetica.
